DNA contains the genetic information used in the development and functioning of all known living organisms. Every being has a distinct DNA code. Belinda Banana was attacked! Visit the URI Science Labs to examine the evidence against suspects such as Oliver Onion (who was jealous Belinda didn't make people cry) or Samuel Spinach (stronger than he lets on). Girls will use molecular techniques and their investigative minds to determine who was at the scene of the crime. Girls will break apart cells (easier than you think!), extract and visualize DNA to solve the crime. Register with GSRI now to reserve your spot! Space is limited in this special, grant-funded program.
