Silk to Lasers: Technology in Art

Experience the incredible evolution of technology in art across 100 years with two unique processes, silk-screening and laser-cutting. In the AS220 Printshop, Scouts will practice traditional light sensitive emulsion techniques that were patented at the time of Girl Scouts' founding. Then in AS220 Labs, traditional paper-cutting takes a modern twist with computer graphic design tools and a laser-cutter with nearly limitless potential.
