Scout Adventures at Providence Children's Museum

Lights, camera, action! Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts take a starring role during fun-filled evening adventures and earn a Providence Children’s Museum patch, plus use activities towards Scout badges. Scouts take a whimsical look at the world behind the silver screen through creative hands-on activities: • Animation Studio: Make moving pictures • Sound Stage: Experiment with an assortment of sound effects • Scene Study: Create and act out skits in different genres • Creature Shop: Design crazy characters • And have plenty of time to explore the Museum’s interactive exhibits! The evening includes engaging activities led by enthusiastic Museum educators, a Providence Children’s Museum patch, a snack (coffee for adults), admission to the Museum for the evening and a pass for each Scout for a future Museum visit. Movie Magic! activities can apply to the Brownie “Senses” and “Inventors” badges and Junior “Entertainment Technology” and “Scribe” badges.
