All girls and adult volunteers from our council are invited to the Grand Opening at our new location at 500 Greenwich Avenue in Warwick on Thursday, June 27 from 11am to 4pm. Drop in whenever you'd like. The ribbon cutting ceremony, which will feature Anna Maria Chavez, the CEO of Girl Scouts of the USA, will take place at 11am. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to see YOUR new home!
The event will take place rain or shine.
The front parking lot of our new building will be covered up with a tent or two so we ask that you park nearby and walk. Click here for a parking map. Crossing guards will ensure your safety. We're serving up hot dogs, hamburgs, veggie burgers, watermelon and cookies till our supplies run out.
If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Thomas at firstname.lastname@example.org. Handicapped parking will be available.

Three recipients were also honored via the second annual Young Women of Distinction awards, which acknowledges those Gold Award projects that stand out in the areas of creativity, impact and sustainability. Congratulations to the two runners up: April Harff from Barrington and Alison Jeffrey from Lincoln. The winner of this year's Young Women of Distinction Award is Lindsay Gimple from Pawcatuck, CT.
