Daisies: Play Ball!
On Friday, February 24 from 10am to noon at Camp Hoffman, women and girl ball players will be on hand to work with Daisies on catching, throwing and base running! If you have a baseball glove or bat, please bring it. If not, equipment will be provided. This is a FREE event, open to all girls in grades K-1. A great opportunity to earn the Daisy Gerri Petal as the girls “play by the rules”.
Nominate a Hasbro Superhero!
Hasbro, Inc. and NBC 10 are teaming up to honor one child between the ages of 5 and 12 who has shown extraordinary commitment to service in her local or global community. Must be a resident of RI or Bristol County, MA. Nominations must be received by April 1. Read more.
Save the Date: Gold Award Ceremony
Help us tell the world just what an accomplishment the Gold Award is! We invite all previous Gold Award winners to support the current "class" of Gold Award recipients by attending the new and improved Gold Award ceremony/luncheon on Saturday, June 2 at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet. For the first time we will also feature a local Young Women of Distinction Contest. Read more.

World Thinking Day 2012
Each year on February 22, Girl Guides and Girl Scouts all over the world celebrate World Thinking Day. It’s a day when Girl Guides and Girl Scouts think of each other and give thanks and appreciation for the international friendship they find in Girl Scouting. Read more.
Project Undercover 2011
For more than 15 years, Project Undercover has been GSRI's annual council service project. Girls collect underwear, socks and diapers for the over 40,000 children in the area who live in poverty. Over two million items have been collected and distributed. Find out about the 2011 Challenge and how to earn the Project Undercover Patch! Our goal is to collect 50,000 pieces! Let's go! Senior Leadership Conference: March 9-11
Girl Scouts in 10th to 12th grade from throughout the Northeast are invited to gather at Salve Regina University from March 9-11 for the 25th Annual Senior Leadership Conference. Conference attendees will choose from more than 50 workshops on topics including college preparation, diversity, personal growth, and peer pressure.
