Girl Scouts of Rhode Island, Inc. offers two product sales programs in the fall: the QSP Be a Reader Magazine and Book Sale and the Ashdon Farms Candy and Nut Sale. Girls can earn proceeds for troop activities and at the same time build self-confidence, learn to set goals, learn strong values and learn how to work as a team. The sale of these products to family and friends also benefits the many services, programs and events that are offered by the council each year.
This year's theme is: Design your Future, Construct a Plan! All girls in any pathway, from Daisies to Ambassadors, can participate in fun activities to "design their future", while participating in the sale programs. Check out the totally new websites www.AshdonFarmsGSI.com and www.qspbeareader.com/activities, both packed with activities for all ages!

What does a troop earn? Each troop earns $1.50 for each magazine subscription sold and $2.00 for each paper address booklet that is completed (a minimum of 7 names/addresses of family and friends)! Each troop earns $1.00 for every candy/nut item that they sell. These monies help support troop activities throughout the year.
Troops that have 100% participation in both sales (selling at least two magazine subscriptions, a completed paper address booklet, a completed Internet activity and address booklet, along with five candy and nut items) will be entered in a drawing for five safes filled with fun prizes for the troop to enjoy! What does a girl earn? Girls will receive incentives for 5, 20, 40 & 60 candy and nut items sold. There are also incentives available for the sale of magazines, beginning with two subscriptions. Girls can once again earn proceeds for any magazine orders that are placed via the internet. Print out the order confirmations and submit them with the rest of your orders by the order turn in deadline. It's EASY!! The top QSP Be A Reader seller in each service unit will receive a polka-dot pull-switch lamp!
