If you are a registered Girl Scout at Girl Scouts of Rhode Island and would like to share some of what you have been up to as a Girl Scout - or what your troop/group has been doing lately, feel free to submit a photo, with caption/story to Cindy Rollins. Pawtucket Girl Scouts from Troop #306 joined Girl Socuts from other local communities and traveled back in time to the late 1880's for a weekend of fun and learning:

Daisy Girl Scout Troop #1361 from Portsmouth participated in an Earth Day Beach Clean-up in April on the Sakonnet River beach in Portsmouth:

Daisy Troop #686 took a trip to the town police station to earn the "Respect Authority" petal:

Troop #609 from East Greenwich hiked from Lonesome Lake to the top of Cannon Mountain...the trip was a 5 mile round trip hike - and they had a great time!

North Kingstown Troop #852 had their bridging ceremony to Cadettes and earned their Bronze Award with their service project for Habitat for Humanity! (congrats!)

Junior Troop #150 from Cranston recently camped at Camp Hoffman over Memorial Day Weekend...here they are showing off their awesome Friendship Sticks that they made:

Troop #477 from West Warwick had a great time at their Career Night! The troop invited Muslim professional women from the community to talk about their professional lives. Speakers included a corporate attorney, a pharmacist and a biomedical research scientist. Here is one of the girls from that event:

Bristol/Warren Troops #480 & #900 recently earned their American Indian Culture patch at the Haffenraffer Museum of Anthropology in Bristol!

Bristol/Warren Troop #480 recently completed their "Music Fan" badge by taking over the station of WQRI 88.3fm at Roger Williams University in Bristol! They prepped 2 hours of programming and shared information about Girl Scouting! Here they are:

Attelboro Girl Scouts enjoyed themselves this year at a City Wide Thinking Day event - they had a culturally diverse potluck dinner and then played "Who Wants to be a Girl Scout"! Here they are having fun:

In March, Girl Scout Troop #477 from the Islamic School of RI attended the Audobon Society's Maple Sugaring program at the Parker Woodland Refuge in Coventry! Here they are - they had a wonderful time!!!

It's Girl Scout Cookie Delivery Time and this Girl Scout is prepping her cases of Girl Scout cookies to deliver in Warwick!

Members of Bristol/Warren Troops #1339 and #240 recently completed their Dance Badge at Grooves Dance Studio in Barrington, RI. They learned theatrical dances using props and exploring different types of music! Here they are:

Somerset and Swansea Girl Scouts worked together to rake 190 bags of leaves from the Annelle Hagerman food pantry grounds and they also had a food drive for the party! Here is a girl raking!

Troop #19 in West Warwick had a great time at the Sock Hop!

Attelboro Daisy Troop #361 have fun together all of the time! They have celebrated Juliette Low's Birthday together, they have dressed up for Halloween and they even had 2 local firefighters teach them fire safety! Here are the girls with the firefighters!:

Junior Troop #150 fromCranston enjoyed a nature hike at Powder Mill Ledges in Greenville!

Rehoboth Senior Girl Scouts packed boxes with Lt. Governor Elizabeth Roberts for Rhode Island's deployed soldiers...at Operation Holiday Cheer! Over 500 boxes were sent overseas!

You can use the photo editing program that came with your digital camera. If you have an "email photo" option, use this (ex: IPhoto for the Macintosh has an email button). Otherwise, use your photo editing program to RESIZE the photograph. Final photographs should NOT exceed 50kb, and should be in "jpg" format. If you cannot figure out how to do this, email Cindy and let her know you have a photo but do not know how to resize it. We will help you - as we really, really want to post your photos!
