Programs – Higher Awards – Gold

The Girl Scout Gold Award is the highest award that a Girl Scout 14-17 may earn. Only 3% - 5% of Girl Scouts across the country earn this award each year. To learn more about this award in general, click on the following links:

On June 6, 2010 at Save The Bay in Providence, a ceremony was held to honor the 26 girls from Girl Scouts of Rhode Island, Inc. who earned their Girl Scout Gold Awards!  Read all about the details of the girls' amazing Gold Award projects.

 Scholarships
Colleges and universities in increasing numbers are beginning to recognize the merits of the Girl Scout experience by awarding and making available scholarships and grants for Girl Scouts and recipients of the Girl Scout Gold Award.
