While our properties are first and foremost maintained for the benefit of the girls in our council, many of our facilities are also available to the general public at a reasonable cost. The income generated from such rentals helps us maintain our properties and invest in capital improvements.
We are fortunate enough to own a camp right in the thick of things in Newport, Rhode Island. In fact, Camp Rocky Farm is just steps away from Ocean Avenue, the Newport Mansions and the other incredible sights and sounds of this popular tourist destination. The camp is located at 160 Carroll Avenue in Newport.
The camp’s beautiful lodge features a large fireplace, a kitchen, showers and plenty of bunks for sleeping should you want to spend a weekend exploring the sights of Newport. The lodge at Camp Rocky Farm has been the host of many holiday dinners for families too large to fit at any one person’s house! It’s also a great place for corporate retreats.

There’s nothing like celebrating Thanksgiving at the Wellville lodge at Camp Hoffman. A large kitchen, an enormous fireplace and a rustic, cozy dining room means your family can enjoy being together in a new setting – plenty of room for large families. There’s even room for everybody to sleep if you want to make it a weekend! All surrounded by the beauty of Camp Hoffman and Larkin Pond.
Other facilities are also available at Camp Hoffman, including our spacious and well-equipped Barbara W. French Dining Hall, the location of several weddings.
The camp is located at 2850 Ministerial Road in West Kingston, RI on the shores of Larkin Pond.

If you have a summer birthday to celebrate, head to Camp Promising Acres in Swansea, MA. The camp features a pristine full-length swimming pool bordered by a lovely covered picnic area, complete with grill and picnic tables. RI certified lifeguards must be present when using the pool, of course, and GSRI can provide the lifeguard if you wish. The camp is located at 580 Dillon Lane in Swansea, MA.

Located on 162 acres along the Pettasquamscutt (Narrow) River, the camp allows for extensive and challenging canoe travel all the way to the sea passing. The camp's cabin can sleep 14 and features a cozy common room, kitchen, and bathroom with two showers. A screened in porch completes the picture. Bring your own boat or rent one from us! Swimming is possible with a trained lifeguard. Camp Narrow River is designated as a prehistoric site on the National Register of Historic Places due to its rich archaeological significance. The camp is located at 518 Snuff Mill Road in North Kingstown, RI.
